The Soul of Traditional Jerk Smoking

Mr Roy Jerk Chicken was founded from my lifelong passion for Caribbean food and  desire to share authentic Jamaican flavours with the community. Cooking has always been a big part of my life, inspired by traditional recipes passed down through family and cultural experience.


I started small, preparing jerk chicken for friends, family, and local gatherings. The positive feedback I received encouraged me to take things further, as more people began to request my food for events and special occasions.


With determination and a clear vision, I officially established Mr Roy Jerk Chicken as a mobile catering business. My aim was to provide high-quality, freshly prepared Caribbean food while delivering excellent customer service.


Over time, the business has grown through hard work, consistency, and word-of-mouth recommendations. I have had the opportunity to cater at community events, festivals, and private functions, building a strong reputation for flavour, reliability, and professionalism.


Today, Mr Roy Jerk Chicken continues to expand, but I remain committed to the same values it was built on authenticity, passion, and bringing people together through great food.

At Mr Roy’s, the best thing is their authentic spicy Jerk, the slow-cooked oxtail and their famous curry goat. This one is a must. I can’t fault a thing you won’t be disappointed with the menu choice, the friendly service or the way everything runs so smoothly. The owner Mr Roy is always on hand for a chat, and you won’t find a lovelier gentleman at carnival. Happy eating.
